How do I know what type of session to book?
Generally speaking if you have a lot of physical issues you are dealing with you may want to book a health focussed session. If you would like to look at relationships, work, flow, rhythms or any other aspect of life you want to bring greater awareness to, then a Life focussed session will work best for you. In either case you get Stacey's extensive understanding of the body and of the being through her many years work as a Naturopath and now Counsellor. What is the difference between seeing a Naturopath and seeing a Wellbeing Consultant with Naturopathic qualifications?
Stacey uses the term Wellbeing Consultant to encompass what she has long done with Naturopathy – and that is to take a wholistic approach to understanding the causative factors of your health concerns beyond the purely physical. In sessions with Stacey equal weight is given to lifestyle changes that can support your body as well as the emotional and mental wellbeing concerns you may have, so that lasting change can be realised.
What is the difference between a general counselling session and a health focussed counselling session?
Both forms of counselling can support the person to come to greater understanding of their particular issue or presentation. Health focussed counselling considers the body as an integral part of the story when it comes to the health of all aspects of your life and wellbeing.
